Molt bonic.

________

One of the nicest gifts I've ever had (for the record, I have had a lot of nice gifts).

I have a friend. We'll call him Woodpecker. This friend is an artist: he does pyrographies. This here is just one of his artworks (and maybe the easiest one for him). This friend is English, and like all the Englishmen I have met in my 2 years in England, he had never heard of The Little Prince before. And what does llenguaddicta do when somenone does not know The Little Prince? She gives him/her a copy.

This friend and me read the first 9 chapters of my favourite book, sitting on a sofa-swing in the patio of the house where I had spent most of my time. We were reading aloud, the English translation of course, he was the narrator/aviatior, I was the little prince and the rose.

And it was nice.

Very nice.

Über nice.

Once I was back in Barcelona, I uploaded a photo to his Facebook wall: a photo of the sofa-swing, without us, empty and loney. And as a footnote I wrote: "Draw me a sheep".

And he did. On wood. And it's one of the nicest gifts I've ever had.

(Love you Mr Turkey)
